“With jewelry, the stone becomes the focus of my wire sculpture as well as with my beaded pendants. I am initially drawn to a stone’s color, size and shape. Like painting, there is a rhythm in my method of wire wrapping. With my beaded pendant pieces, there is excitement creating different color combinations. I enjoy the soothing feel of wrapping the wire around a beautiful stone. I love contemporary jewelry. The wire sculpture technique I created gives each design a contemporary edge with a feel for the past.”
