Award-winning artist and South
Carolina native Cindy Alpert Saad
conveys
a
multitude
of sensations
through her paintings and one of a kind hand crafted jewelry.
Working in a variety of mediums, Saad expresses herself by
creating colors, shapes and images in combinations of irregular
and logical sequences. These inventive combinations emerge
in her paintings and handcrafted jewelry.
Saad’s eye-catching jewelry literally stops traffic.
She and her loyal following know the craze that occurs when
seen wearing one of her unique designs. Saad’s
wire sculpture jewelry initially excites the eye with its
fanciful twists of silver that encircles beautiful objects
of art glass, blister pearls or semi-precious gemstones.
Even her beaded pendants that dangle from a swirl of sterling
generate excitement. Because each piece is a unique work of
art, she favors selling her designs to small boutiques and
galleries where the customer is assured of receiving personal
attention and proper fitting.
Created for the most part, in the abstract, her paintings
are captivating with their bold colors and unconventional arrangements.
Her palette inspires the imagination and leaves each viewer
with a different interpretation. Saad likes to work spontaneously,
creating pieces that evoke the senses. When she paints, Saad
loses track of time, similar to being in a dreamlike state.
Her paintings often consist of many layers and take on multiple
personalities as color and movement guide her through to the
finished piece.
